Outdoor dining in Davie centers on the Tower Shops and the blocks around them on South University Drive, just south of Interstate 595, where four bars and restaurants list a patio or outdoor seating. A fifth is farther south in the Davie Shopping Center. All five are bars or sports bars that serve full menus.

How we made this list. The places come from OpenStreetMap records inside Davie’s town limits, the same data behind our local directory, checked against each place’s own website on Oct. 8, 2026. A place is on this list only if its own website says it has a patio or outdoor seating; OpenStreetMap tags alone were not enough. We added Big Whiskey’s and Tap 42 from the state’s restaurant inspection records and their own websites. The list is alphabetical. Big Whiskey’s American Restaurant & Bar in the Davie Shopping Center says the patio is what this location is known for, and suggests it for happy hour or brunch. The menu runs from wings and steaks to sandwiches, with a whiskey list of more than 120 bottles.

Flanigan’s Seafood Bar and Grill in the Tower Shops lists outdoor seating on its Davie page. It is one of the South Florida chain’s seafood bars and grills, open until midnight or later every night, and diners can join the waitlist online.

Miller’s Ale House at 2080 S. University Drive invites guests to grab a spot on its open-air patio or in the dining room. It is a sports bar and restaurant with more than 60 TVs and 35 beers on tap, according to its page.

Tap 42 Craft Kitchen & Bar in the Tower Shops has a covered patio with TVs, its site says. It serves bottomless brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, runs a weekday happy hour at the bar from 3 to 6 p.m. and takes reservations.

Twin Peaks at 2000 S. University Drive is a sports lodge whose location page lists a patio, along with to-go orders and delivery.
